Is there a time when you say "let God be in control" when you feel that you are hopeless and you think that you cannot do anything about your situation?  We say "let God be in in control" when we feel that the battle is nearly over and it is not in our favor. We say "let God be in control" when the burden is too heavy for us to bear and there is nobody around to help us carry the load.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Letting God be in control is not an act of surrendering as a sign of defeat but rather an act of submission to His plans for us.

Our God will never control us.  He wants us to submit to Him freely, with all our hearts without any doubts. We have been into situations wherein trusting Him is the answer but sadly it's in human nature to say "I trust Him" because we feel this is the last resort and the only way out.

It is easier to let go when you know there will be someone to catch and hold on to you.  Letting Him be in control, trusting Him is not surrendering because we have failed but rather we trust Him because we want to let His works, His will and His plans to be fulfilled in us.

Exit, step back but not quit and let The One to be in control.

Father God, we sincerely submit to you and let you be in control of our life because we trust you, love you and you are our God.
